How to dispose of mattresses
Contact the Commercial Waste team on 020 7641 6180 to arrange a bulky waste collection.
In order to prevent the spread of bed bugs please:
- seal any mattresses or box springs for disposal in a large plastic bag before putting it out for collection.
These large plastic bags normally come as packaging around a new mattress which you can reuse to wrap the old one. Alternatively you can buy them at department stores, home improvement stores, moving supply centers and online retailers.
